What Expert say about Skullcandy Venue Active Noise Canceling Wireless Headphone

techradar.com

The Skullcandy Venue offer long battery life and unique Tile integration but its average active noise cancellation, spotty connection, and poor build quality are let downs. For the money, there are better alternatives but if you have a habit of losing your headphones and like the style, the Venue are a unique choice.

The Skullcandy Venue is a solid noise cancelling headphone with a couple of serious problems: The wireless connection is weak, leading to skips when walking around town and the Venue also feels cheap as the headphones creak and groan under stress of being stretched out.

The Skullcandy Venue is a good sounding pair of closed-back over-ear headphones. They have a deep, consistent, and powerful bass, an even and decently balanced mid-range, and a great treble. However, their bass is a bit hyped in the sub-bass region, which some people may like, and their mid-range is noticeably recessed on vocals and lead instruments. Also, their treble could sound a little sizzly and sharp. Overall, they have the smiley-face (V-shaped) sound profile which makes them exciting, especially on bass-heavy material, however, they may not be the ideal choice for vocal-centric music.

if you’re a fan of bass and are looking for over-ear headphones that aren’t as expensive as some other premium noise cancelling headsets, get the Skullcandy Venue. These Bluetooth ANC headphones have an exciting sound, great for bass-heavy genres. They are also fairly comfortable and lightweight but might feel a bit tight on larger heads.
